This is an great piece of guitar based indie from London band The Shallows, and it comes from their excellent new EP ‘Same Space Vol 2’.

I do love this delightfully quirky piece of pop from Snippet, aka Colchester based Johnno Casson, which comes from his upcoming release called ‘DIY’… which is available on cassette!!

 

Shy Nature – Deadly Sin
North London band Shy Nature say they write “songs about growing up in your twenties”, and if Deadly Sin is anything to go by they shouldn’t change a thing.

 

The Weeks – Brother in the Night
This is a wonderful 60s soul influenced track from Mississippi band The Weeks, and it comes from their upcoming debut album ‘Dear Bo Jackson’.

I’m not sure how to describe this track from Newcastle band Peculiar Disco Moves, but the lyrics alone (as well as the band name) certainly bring a smile to my face.

The Jar Family – Footsteps
This is a wonderfully mellow track from industrial folk band The Jar Family, and it comes from their double a-sided single (‘Machine’ being the flip side track)

The Android Angel – Distant Star
The talented Paul Coltofeanu, aka The Android Angel, makes another Emerging artists’ appearance with this excellent track ,where the guitar makes a more prominent appearance than in some of his other great tunes.
