Alternative Friday

because great new music doesn’t always get the exposure it deserves

Quite a diverse mixture of tracks greet you in this Emerging artists posting. I love them all, but which will be your favourite?

Invisible Hands – Storm
This is a wonderful piece of anthemic indie from Leeds band Invisible Hands. Storm had me hooked early on, so if you prefer your indie rock with a melody and great drumming then then I hope it grabs you too.

Paul Hegley Band – Blood Red Curtain
Bedfordshire blues rockers the Paul Hegley Band return with this excellent new single. I’ve seen them live a few times too and I can vouch that you’d have an excellent night if you enjoy a bit of blues.

Lost Winter – Secret Book
Secret Book is a delightfully brooding piece of instrumental electro with indie influences from Huddersfield band Lost Winter.

Ooberfuse – Why Am I Here
If you enjoy your electro pop then this track from South London 3-piece Ooberfuse should have you in a spin.
[Sorry, track removed from soundcloud]
